AS A FRESHMAN (2007):
Had seven goals in her first year as a Golden Bear...scored once in three out of her first four games...contributed one of three goals for Cal in a fourth-period comeback against San Jose State (2-10-07)...also scored once in overtime to help the Bears to a 8-6 win over Irvine (3-10-07)

At Corona del Mar High School was the 2006 Southern California Water Polo Coaches Association Player of the Year, Los Angeles Times Player of the Year, Orange County Register Player of the Year, Daily Pilot Newport-Mesa Player of the Year and CIF Division III Co-Player of the Year... two-time Pacific Coast League MVP helping her team to four league titles and four CIF crowns...was the 2006 SoCal Invitational Outstanding Field Player and the 2006 Santa Barbara Tournament MVP...as a junior in 2005, was a USWP All-American, first-team All-CIF Southern Section and league MVP...as a member of the USA national youth team traveled to Australia and New Zealand in 2005...has several relatives who are current or former collegiate water polo players...undeclared major...parents are Thomas and Kathy Hewko...born September 23, 1988, in Newport Beach, Calif.
