High School: Played for the U.S. Under-19 Pateadores club in Southern California...in the 2006 Premier Soccer League Season, the Pateadores were champions of the Southern Section, allowed the least number of goals and ended up as one of the top two teams in California...in the 2004-05 season, his U.S. Under-17 Pateadores team won the national championship, allowing just one goal during the national tournament...in 2005, his club team won the CYBC State Cup tournament and represented California at regionals in Boise, Idaho...played on his varsity team in high school all four years. Personal: Social welfare major...parents are Paul and Toni Bethke...has one older brother who runs cross country at the University of Wisconsin...enjoys bodyboarding and off-roading...born in Mission Viejo, Calif.
