A mid-year transfer from Duke who joined the Cal program prior to the start of the spring 2007 semester, Boykin brings strength and experience to the Golden Bear frontline ... becomes eligible to play Dec. 21, one day after the completion of fall final exams ... received a medical hardship waiver this past spring due to a severe case of mononucleosis that limited his ability to practice with the Bears and is classified as a sophomore for this season.
