Cal: Joined the Golden Bears last year as one of the most decorated incoming recruits in program history.
Cross Country: Selected to the U.S. Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association's men's Division I All-Academic team...best race of his freshman year came in the Stanford Invitational where he finished 28th with a time of 24:34, third best among Cal runners...competed in four of the six meets in 2006.
Track: In 2007, PRed in the 800-meter (1:51.75) at the Brutus Hamilton Invitational, 1500-meter (3:46.26) at the NCAA West Regional, mile (4:04.29) at the California Collegiate Challenge and 3000-meter (8:22.01, tenth all-time at Cal) at the Jim Click Shootout.
High School: Runner-up at the Footlocker National Championships...Div. III state cross country champion (fastest time in the state for all divisions)...in track and field, finished second at the California state meet in the 1600-meter...Nike Indoor National Champion in the two mile...Nike Outdoor National Champion in the mile...PRs include: mile (4:07) and two mile (8:56).
Personal: Has one sister, Danielle, who currently attends Cal...parents are Scott and Margie Coe...undeclared major.
