 The California Athletic Department has announced plans for the Coaches Tour 2008. Golden Bears Director of Athletics Sandy Barbour, head football coach Jeff Tedford and new head men's basketball coach Mike Montgomery will be making a combined seven stops at Northern and Southern California local restaurants in May and June to discuss the state of Cal Athletics and their individual programs. From May 19-22, the trio will be making four appearances in the San Francisco Bay Area and Sacramento, and from June 2-4, the tour continues at three venues in San Diego and the Los Angeles area. The Coaches Tour 2008 begins May 19 at Back Forty BBQ in Pleasant Hill and concludes June 4 at Gordon Biersch Restaurant in Pasadena. The events are open to all Cal donors, season ticket holders and fans. Attendees are entitled to bring one guest and must register themselves and their guest by clicking here. Register early as space is very limited at each location. Coaches Tour 2008 Schedule Fans in Southern California are encouraged to attend the San Diego event and fans in the Bay Area are encouraged to attend the San Jose event as plenty of space is still available at both venues.
