PROMOTIONS THROUGHOUT THE SEASON:

100 Year Anniversary of California Men's Basketball
Throughout the 2008-09 Season, we will mark the 100th Year of Cal Basketball with milestones, retrospections, highlights and benchmarks. Souvenir merchandise and keepsakes will be available throughout the season. Check the 100th Anniversary page for all of the upcoming special events and giveaways.

$10 Youth Tickets
Tickets for most Cal home games are $10 for all youth grade 12 and under. The $10 ticket is available for all home games except Stanford, UCLA and Arizona.

$10 Corner Tickets
Located in the upper areas of Sections 19, 20 and 21, the $10 Corner Tickets are available for adults, youth and seniors. A limited number of tickets are set aside for this promotion. The $10 Corner Tickets are available for all games except for the Stanford, UCLA and Arizona games.


Fan Appreciation Day

Get a sneak peak at the 2008-09 Golden Bears and new Coach Mike Montgomery. All fans are welcome to join the team for a full scrimmage followed by an opportunity to meet Coach Montgomery, his staff and the players. Get autographs, get to know the coaches and talk strategies for the season ahead. For the kids, there will be bounce houses, free throw contests and games. Let's show Coach Montgomery how a new Golden Bear is welcomed into Bear Territory.

100th Season Commemorative mini-basketballs autographed by Coach Montgomery

These one-of-a-kind mini-basketballs are already autographed by Coach Mike Montgomery and will be handed out to the first 250 season ticket holders to arrive at Haas Pavilion. These free, autographed mini-basketballs will be available at the Fan Appreciation Day only. Arrive early and grab your piece of history!

Music, contests, giveaways, bounce houses and games of skill will fill Spieker Plaza in front of Haas Pavilion and it's all FREE. Fun starts 90 minutes before tip-off. Kids of all ages will find something to smile about at JamFest '08.

$10 Super-Sized Tickets

Season Ticket Holders and Cal Fan 4-Pack Holders can add-on tickets to this game against USF for only $10 each. These $10 tickets are for adults, seniors or youth. USF will be traveling across the Bay Bridge to take on the Golden Bears and, no doubt, the Pavilion will be noisy.

Halftime: Cal Volleyball Exhibition

The Top 10 Ranked Cal Women's Volleyball team will put on a show of set-ups, digs and spikes. Get to know our team, our passion and our sport.

Cal vs Baylor

Get two great games for the price of one. Depending upon the scheduling (who plays first, who plays second), women's basketball ticket holders will be invited to stay for the men's game that follows afterwards - or vice versa - for FREE.



Colliers International Golden Bear Classic

This annual tournament packs two days with great basketball. Tickets are sold for each day only. Your ticket gets you admission one of the days but BOTH of the games that day. The Saturday ticket is for the two Round 1 games and your Sunday ticket is for seats to both the Consolation Game and the Championship Game.

Team & Cheer Day

Youth teams, players, coaches and families are welcomed to Haas Pavilion again this year. Some groups will be able to play at halftime, meet the Golden Bears, form an on-court team tunnel for team intros and other cool stuff. Special team ticket prices available for groups of 15 or more.

Join us in recognizing all of the Cal Student-Athletes who have accomplished excellence both in the classroom and in athletics.


Scout Day

It's a Cal Jamboree! Scouts from all over the Bay Area will converge on Haas Pavilion for scout activities and fun. Scout troops will be chosen for the Presentation of the Flag and on-court tunnel. Troops will also be able to work toward their merit badges along with winning prizes and giveaways. First 250 scouts in attendance will receive a Cal Scout Day Basketball patch. Go Bears!

Special appearance by members of the 1959 National Championship Team

The season-long celebration of our 100th year of California Men's Basketball takes the forefront with many former players and coaches on hand. There will be a special appearance of members of our 1959 National Championship team celebrating the 50th Anniversary of their accomplishments. Celebrate them all with video board salutes, in-game recognitions and a thrilling gathering of the players from that landmark team on-court. Welcome back our National Champions!


ESPN's College GameDay

ESPN's College GameDay and Saturday Primetime will make its Berkeley debut when the television road show comes to Haas Pavilion. The college basketball version of the popular College GameDay football series - featuring two one-hour shows at 8 a.m. and approximately 5 p.m. PT - will originate from Newell Court on campus before and after the game.
